Kirsten
Slaney has been drawing from the time she could hold a pencil. She amazed her
kindergarten teacher who had never had a student create three dimensional drawings at the
age of 5! Kirsten won several art awards throughout secondary school. As an avid horsewoman Kirsten's subject is most often horses, but she also draws other pets such as cats and dogs, and even had a commission for a pet donkey! Graphite drawings and sketches are her favourite medium, however she also works with pen and ink, pencil crayon, acrylic and oil paints.
