VON Senior Support Services

VON Community Support Services offer community-based, volunteer driven programs such as Transportation, Meals on Wheels (hot and frozen), Exercise Clinics, Security Checks, Telephone Reassurance, Volunteer Visiting, Lunch Out, Foot Care, Home Maintenance Referral, Vial of Life, Adult Day Programs, Alzheimer/Dementia Visiting and Support Group, and Hospice Visiting. Serving the municipalities of North Middlesex, Lucan-Biddulph and Middlesex Centre North of Highway 22(Egremont Drive).  Office hours are Mon-Fri 9am-3pm. Satellite office with appointment at Parkhill Northwest Multi-Service Centre. 

Middlesex-London Health Unit

Public Health Services available:
  • Birth Control and STI Clinics (call to make an appointment)
  • Breastfeeding & Well Baby/Child Clinics
  • Parenting & Prenatel Classes
  • Immunization Clinic (no appointment necessary)
    First Tuesday of the month 3:30 - 7:30 p.m.
  • Bottle pick-up and drop-off for testing of private wells 

Canadian Red Cross

  • Loan of Sick Room Equipment

T.O.P.S. - Take off Pounds Sensibly

  • A nonprofit, noncommercial weight-loss support group
  • meeting every Tuesday evening 6:30 - 7:00
  • Weigh in 6:15 - 6:30
  • Cost $30.00 per year, $2.00 per week

Vanier Community Mental Health Services

Vanier Community Mental Health Services are offered to Middlesex families with children age 0-14 experiencing social, emotional and behavior challenges.  Services include Focus Family Therapy, up to 12 sessions with a Child and Family Therapist, Intensive Family Services, in home counselling and support to parents, Positive Parenting groups and services for children under the age of 12 coming to the attention of police and fire authorities.  Families can be seen in Strathroy, Parkhill, Glencoe, Lucan and London.
