                                                     Amateur Radio Web Page
Welcome to my web page, a work which will be constantly  as I tinker and tune!  You will find a little bit about me and my ham radio interests, as well as some good technical data, and several links to neat web sites.

Of course I'm a member of Radio Amateurs of Canada !   RAC is our official Canadian voice in ham radio affairs, and if it is to be heard loud and clear it needs the support of ALL hams in the country.  So, if you are not currently a member, won't you consider joining?  Remember, strength lies in numbers!

I have been a member of the American Radio Relay League   almost continuously since 1958 when my parents purchased my first membership as a Christmas gift. Throughout these years, I have looked forward to receiving QST Magazine each month, have taken part in various ARRL contests and activities, and have been active in the DXCC program which has provided much of the "wallpaper" in my shacks.  Belonging to ARRL brings an added dimension to ham radio!   VE3CSK has been "on the air" for 50 years; it was April 3, 1959 when John Dicker, VE3CSJ and I sat for our first ham license in North Bay, Ontario.  How time flies!!

"Magoo" is the nickname given me by high school  pals many years ago.  Of course,
I'm not as near-sighted as my namesake (yet)!!
