                                                                              BEAUTIFUL HOMEBREW RECEIVER and TRANSMITTER
                                                                                                                                   OF W7QBR IN THE 1960S

I have always enjoyed building equipment. My first homebrew rig was a single 6AG7/2E26/813 constructed in 1959 to replace a WS#19 set and then a Bendix TA-12. Over the years, I have built converters, transceivers, antenna couplers, power supplies, switching equipment and so on.  Unfortunately, much of it was either sold or scavenged for parts. Recently, however, I embarked on a number of homebrew projectsand decided to share my efforts on these pages.  Homebrewing brings a tremendous sense of satisfaction and pride and adds yet another dimension to ham radio.
