Here are a number of links which topband ops may find helpful. This is by no means a complete list and I will add to it as I locate others which I think would be helpful. Unfortunately, as servers are changed from time to time, some links may become invalid. Please let me know if you find that one of the links on this page is no longer valid.

FLAG AND PENNANT COMPENDIUM -This is a collection of material on the very popular flag and pennant low-noise receive antennas. Many are from the Topband Reflector. If you don't have room for full-size Beverage antennas, then something from this collection may just fill your needs.

W8JI -If you operate on 160 meters and subscribe to the Topband Reflector you know who this guy is! Lots of information on a variety of topics plus Tom is always willing to help with technical problems.

K1FZ MATCHING TRANSFORMERS -For those unwilling to wind their own transformers, K1FZ produces what is reported to be an extremely good line of transformers and terminations.

TOPBAND REFLECTOR -This link provides subscription information as well as a link to the archives. Very worthwhile for topband information of every type.

SHORT BEVERAGE ANTENNAS - For those who don't have space for the full-sized version, K3Ky has information about making short Beverages work.

W3LPL ON BEVERAGES - Valuable information on design and installation of Beverage antennas.

K1BGW BEVERAGE PAGE - More good information on Beverages. You can never read enough about this antenna...everybody has ideas about making it work to advantage on 160 meters.

K9AY RECEIVE LOOP- For those without the space for Beverages or EWES, a rotatable alternative to the flag and pennant.

K6STI LOOP-A more complex receive loop but one which, according to all reports, works very well.
